Learn techniques for working with newborn to nine-year-old children. Plan, prepare, and present activities in music, art, math, science, nutrition, language, and social development as you prepare for a career as an early childhood teacher or daycare provider. Courses include Child Development 1, 2, and 3. Students have the opportunity to participate in D300’s Internship Program, giving them the opportunity for hands-on career exploration through a partnership with area businesses, as well as ECC’s Dual Credit Program. This program is offered at Hampshire and Dundee-Crown High Schools.
