Automotive Technology

Regional

Elgin High School, South Elgin High School in District U-46

This Regional Career Pathway is housed in District U-46 and is also available to students in Districts 300, 301, and 303. Students will learn the fundamentals of automotive systems and maintenance with the opportunity to earn industry credentials.

Business

East High School, North High School

Students can choose from a variety of course offerings, allowing them to focus their studies on one of several areas within business, including computers, marketing, management, and finance.

Family and Consumer Sciences

East High School, North High School

This program allows students to explore the fields of education, culinary arts, hospitality, fashion, and interior design.

Precision Manufacturing

Regional

South Elgin High School or Streamwood High School, District U-46

This Regional Career Pathway is housed in District U-46 and is also available to students in Districts 300, 301, and 303. Students participating in the program will engage in project-based learning to develop the skills required to earn certifications such as National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS).

Technology and Engineering

East High School, North High School

Explore the fields of technology and engineering to prepare for a career as an engineer, architect, mechanic, or woodworker.

Veterinary Assistant

Central High School, District 301

This Regional Career Pathway is housed at Central High School in District 301 and is also available to students in Districts 300, 303, and U-46. Students participating in this program will gain hands-on knowledge and experiences that will equip them to earn a Veterinary Assistant Certification.

Welding

Regional

Elgin High School, District U-46 or Hampshire High School, District 300

This Regional Career Pathway is housed at Streamwood High School and South Elgin High School in school District U-46 and is also available for students in Districts 300, 301, and 303. Students participating in the program will learn a variety of welding processes and techniques that will equip them to earn certification from the American Welding Society.
